Sightseeing map

The morning awakening in the boat with the view of the gulf that leads to Cotor, was extremely impressive! The vert mountains lead up to the sea, while the boat crossing the channel or else fjord, passed beside from very beautiful small islets in which you could only see above churches. At the hour where we passed very near, it struck the bells and it came out people in the windows and it greeted us. The spectacle was amazing !

Reaching in the harbor of Cotor  we faced the Venetian wall of the old city. In the side of the mountain was climbed another castle while little beside was a church. The time pressed us and the only thing we could do, it was a visit in to the castle that was found next to us. Medieval, well maintained with the particular architecture of the houses, with beautiful catholic and orthodox churches, beautiful coffee shops and a lot of tourists. Also the day where we were there existed certain festive events. We wanted to go up in the castle on the mountain but we wanted enough time, after you could go on foot going up enough steps, thus we left it for another time.

Approaching the city of Dubrovnik, you can see for the first time from an elevation and you realize immediately its astonishing beauty! It is an amphitheatrically built city with panoramic view of the wider region. Entering in the city, we were not late to find our rooms and relax at last, after two days of travelling. The place of our stay was said …… and the cost was 30euro/per person. It allocated an astonishing veranda and a view of the entire city.

Little before the dawn we were found inside the walls of the city. We remained voiceless after it was as if it came out from a fairy tale! You consider that you have been transported in other season and from somewhere they will present pirates and knights! The old city is like that it has not been influenced from the time, with very beautiful alleys, graphic churches, impressive squares built from stone with beautiful statues. After we took a first walk in a lot of tourist shops that allocates the city, we decided to dine. In the graphic small port we found a beautiful restaurant and ordered local delicacies. Later we led to one very beautiful bar, which saw the sea, precisely outside from the walls of the city.

The second day was good more from what we expected!
